Additional Holding Tank
I am thinking about adding an additional water holding tank to my reverse osmosis watering system, in addtion possibly making it a rainfall collection system. What would you recommend? I'm in Canada and the winters are very cold, so the tanks would need to be inside. The garden is a 3700 sq/ft indoor sub tropical garden filled with prehistoric/ancient plants and we want to utilize the limited amount of rain that we get. Can a bladder be contained in a box? We only have access through a double wide doorway.
What an incredible garden! I would love to see it in full bloom and I would be happy to help. We have a variety of products that could work for your water holding tank needs. Not only do we carry portable tanks, but we also have steel tanks. From your inquiry, I gather that you are leaning toward a pillow tank.
Our collapisble water holding tanks are manufactured from first grade materials and all provided with a certificate of fitness upon request. Each tank is warranted for a period of 1 year for workmanship and materials (full warranty details available on request) and certified for storage of approved liquids (an MSDS may be required to ensure complete compatibility). It can be custom designed to assure that the fittings are exactly where need them and so the size fits to your storage specifications. It could very well be contained within a box, and we can assure that the size will accommodate that.
Another solution that may be of interest to you is the Original Rainwater Pillow. The system includes: Portable Collapsible Pillow Tank (made from durable, heavy duty tank fabric), Filter, Pump, Remote Control, and All Necessary Fittings. Standard sizes for this system start at 725 gallons to 3,000 gallons.
