collapsible water tank

Our collapsible pillow tank is designed for the storage of potable water in locations around the world including construction sites, industrial facilities, emergency relief operations, and recreational facilities. Its ability to store water, adapt to various climates, and meet large storage requirements has made it a favorite for drinking water storage.

Collapsible Water Tank Information

The collapsible tank is an extremely flexible unit that can be built to meet various storage requirements. Its typical capacities range in size from 25 to 210,000 gallons and are constructed to almost any required storage specification. Often referred to as a pillow tank, these units remain flat when empty and fill up to form a pillow-like structure. This gives them a low profile for operations and crawl space storage.

These flexible tanks are constructed from top-grade, durable materials and contain NSF 61 and FDA approvals for potable water. This helps to ensure safety when dealing with potable materials.

Technical Specifications

Fabric: The fabric used to construct these tanks is designed specifically for potable water and contains NSF 61 and FDA approvals. Typical fabrics include polyurethane, polymer alloy, and E PVC coated materials.

Contact Time: The contact time for these tanks can vary depending on the material used. Fabrics are typically rated at a time between one and seven years (1-7 yrs). The contact time rated for your tank is not intended to indicate the functionality of your tank, but to note the point in time where your fabric may start to change based on weathering and chemical reactions. It is not an indication of the longevity of your tank.

Fittings: Standard fittings for these tanks are made from an aluminum, stainless steel, or polypropylene material and range from 3/4 to 2 inches (3/4" through 2"). Fittings include ball valves, pressure relief vents, and caps to accommodate various hoses and pumps. Larger size fittings (typically 4" to 6") are also available upon request.

Optional Fittings:

  • Emergency Plugs
  • Repair Kits
  • Operational Spare Parts
  • Pressure Relief valves
  • Ports (drain and floor available)

Liners: Depending on your application, these large capacity collapsible water tanks can be used with either a berm liner or ground cloth. These materials are designed to provide an extra barrier between the floor of your tank and the ground area. If a berm is being used, walls on these berms will typically provide an area of secondary containment for pumps, pipes and tanks.
