The Steel Advantage
All tanks are made from 304, 304L, 316, 316L stainless steel for compatibility with water, chemicals, and corrosive materials. The surface of the stainless steel provides a clean, modern look. It is corrosion resistant and has high mechanical properties. Other advantages include ease of cleaning, durability, longer life expectancy, and low cost.
Composition and Grade
Stainless steel is a low-carbon steel that contains chromium, which forms an invisible, corrosion-resistant chromium oxide film on the surface. The more chromium content the more resistance the steel will have. Other elements enhance the functional properties of stainless steel and determine its grade. High-alloyed grades have heightened fire and heat resistance, and some grades can improve strength.
