An open top self-supporting portable water tank(for example a 1,000 gallons NSN#5430-01-526-2212 military tank), is the solution for inadequate or unusable supplies of water.

Self-Supporting Tanks are rapid deployment tanks used for temporary liquid storage where response time is critical. These tanks can be used to store recovered hazardous materials, like oil from oil spills via pumps and skimmer systems, chemicals, emergency water storage or for other liquids.
