Thank you for contacting us! The Frame Tank is a highly durable fabric that is designed specifically for outdoor storage and dependable use. The fabric materials used for the tank can vary based on your application, but typically each fabric features a UV resistance for extended use in outdoor conditions.
In addition, the frame tank features a flexible design that can be adapted to several different fittings including drains and connection ports. Available fittings including aluminum, polypropylene, camlock and storz.
These tanks have commonly been used for a wide variety of applications include aqua based storage, emergency water storage of firefighting efforts, fuel storage and even plant storage. For aquaponics, food grade or potable water liners would be used so you could safely store your materials.
Frame tanks typically come with two different frame options:
Steel Frame:
- Uses 7/8" 4 gauge Round Tube Steel
- Equipped with heavy-duty laser cut hinge
- Mig-welded construction
Aluminum Frame:
- Uses 1" x 1" x 1/8" 6061 Square Tube Aluminum
- Laser cut hinges
- 20-25% weight savings over steel
- Aluminum mig-welded construction
