Using Steel Tanks, Portable Tanks, or Rainwater Harvesting Tanks for Secondary Drinking Water Storage in Urban Application
(Corpus Christi, Texas)
Portable Water Storage Water Bags
I'm looking to see what types, sizes and prices for secondary drinking water storage for urban use in my garage in case of public water interuptions. I would do well to consider the stress weight on the concrete flooring and spread the weight. My garage is 20x20 and I need it to store other important things too. Would a bladder would take up too muuch floor space?
Thank you for your inquiry. We would be happy to help. The Portable Tank Group offers collapsible tanks and
steel tanks in any size. They are custom built to suit your needs.
Our collapsible tanks is much more economical and collapses for easy storage. If space is an issue when it is filled, the tank could be stored just outside of your garage on a ground cloth to protect it from abrasion and puncture.
Another option, which is a great space saver, is our Handi Bag. The Handi Bag is a small portable water bag that is NSF and FDA compliant for potable water up to 5 years and can be stored pretty much anywhere!
If you are interested in a more permanent solution, a HighDro Potable Water Tank would be an ideal solution.
You could also look at a long term solution like Rainwater Harvesting.
