Choosing a Spill Berm
I have some smaller pieces of gas powered equipment that need secondary containment. You have quite a few spill berms on your site. Which would you recommend for things like a lift, generator, and power washer?
Thank you for contacting Portable Tank Group. I'd be happy to tell you about our spill berms and help find the best one for your application.
We do, in fact, have quite a few models, but I think we can narrow it done some for you. For the lift I would recommend a drive-thru berm. It is made with air wall sides and foam wall ends and is compact and rapid to deploy. The berms are made to perform in challenging environments and climates. You can easily drive in and out, and leave the lift parked there.
For the generator and power washer, you could look at a couple of secondary containment solutions. I would recommend one of two things: One foam wall berm or 2 spill basins. Both will perform well. If you are storing all of your equipment in one area, the larger spill berm could hold a variety of things. If you plan on storing them in different areas, the basins are perfect.
