Corrugated Water Tanks
Using hot dip galvanized (HDG) panels, our corrugated steel water tanks are created for your specific tank application, and then shipped to your location at a fraction of the cost of comparable tanks. Corrugated bolted tanks are available in 722 gallons up to over 600,000 gallons and beyond. Ideal for wastewater, fire protection, bio-solids, sludge, and more, this corrugated water tank includes an interior dual liner system providing leak protection. The heavy, flexible liners are AWWA approved making them ideal for potable and non-potable water storage.
Our steel water tanks are a cost-effective storage method designed for strength and durability. The (HDG) coated steel makes this corrugated tank a perfect choice for chemical, industrial, power/utility, and bridge/highway projects due to its unequaled strength and ability to withstand the harshest environments. We offer a variety of roof styles, including open tanks that suit applications for both structural and aesthetic considerations. Available in flat, as well as 10 degree to 30 degree roof designs for flat and open J rib or V rib roofs. Corrugated Steel Water Tanks Features
Extended Life Expectancy
The life span of your corrosion resistant tank is an important factor when choosing storage. Our corrugated steel tanks last from 30 to 35 years. You not only save money upfront- when it's time to replace your tank, it's half the cost compared to epoxy-coated tanks.
Durable Tank Liners
All of our liners are NSF 61 potable water approved and NFPA 22 equivalent, surpassing industry standards. The tank liner is welded to the dimensions of the tank prior to installation, except for large tanks. We offer 6 different standard liners available, including coating and flexible liners, as well as custom and specialty liners for your corrugated steel water tank.
Additional Insulation
Interior poly-iso insulation is used between the steel wall and flexible liner for added insulation. Steel flanges are then installed to fit the added insulation. Immersion heaters are also options per NFPA22.
Optional Flooring Designs
Our corrugated steel tanks are built on concrete foundations, making a steel floor unnecessary, except for steel floors engineered to be self-anchored with anchors meeting ASCE7-10 and all AWWA requirements. We use tall anchor saddles and A36 F155r zinc or galvanized all-thread anchor rods. Standard non-seismic anchors, heavy-duty seismic anchors, stiffener pages, as well as other options are available.

Corrugated Steel Tank Installation
Once we fabricate your corrugated water tank, it is delivered to your location for onsite installation. Our tank calculator helps define the usable gallon requirements for your tank. With your calculations and other tank decisions, we fabricate your tank panels with HDG sheets for your specific tank. You may choose to install your corrugated water tank yourself or we can install your tank with professional installers at your site. Find out more about our available installation teams and engineering package.
After your site has been prepared and uniformly leveled, assembly will begin. Tank wall panels are most often installed on a concrete foundation as steel floors are not necessary unless tank is self-anchoring. This type of tank is installed on a compacted granular/road base ring foundation. Tank walls are seismically anchored to the foundation as needed.
Tanks are built from the ground up, including assembling your chosen roof and any appurtenances to be included. Safety appurtenances may include guardrails, ladder systems, deck access, catwalks, bridges and more. Line drawings can include any appurtenance for job-specific safety requirements. Line drawings are used as a tool to incorporate corrugated steel tank aerial view, side view with elevation specifications, and detailed dimensions of each element of your tank from top to bottom, including any custom features.
