Water Pillow Tanks for the US Army
FAQ: Are Drinking Water Pillow Tanks Reusable?
Question: I am working on project for the US Army in Iraq, and they have requested three drinking water pillows, size 75,000 liters at least. They are going to use them for one month then after 5 months it will be used again. They will be used at least five times. So can you give me good price and delivery time?
How long could they be used? Do you provide any repair kit in case there was any leaking?
The lifespan of a tank will depend on a lot of different factors, but it usually based significantly on the type of fabric that is being used. For military operations, the Drinking Water Pillow Tanks fabric that is most commonly used is a DOD specified material that is rated for 7 years of use.
In addition to tank fabric, there are also several other factors that can affect the lifespan and use of a tank. These factors rely heavily on care, use and location requirements. View additional Drinking Water Holding Tanks.
To further protect your tank and ensure a long lifespan, you might also consider using a what is referred to as a Ground Cloth. These liner or cloth fabrics are durable, lightweight, and can help add an extra layer of fabric between your tank and the ground. This works to protect the bottom of your tank to prevent abrasion, corrosion, or other wear and tear factors.
In regards to your question about repair kits, yes, we can supply these also to help you patch up small leaks and spills that may occur during the storage and use of your tank.
