I am looking for pillow tank rentals for storing water and information on renting. Does Portable Tanks, a division of GEI Works provide this service?

Answer: temporary water tank

Yes, pillow tanks are available rent through Portable Tanks, a division of GEI Works! However, there are a few restrictions on size, contents and storage time that must be considered before sending out a request to rent one.

Give us a call at +1-772-646-0597 or fill out our quote request forum for tank rental to discuss your collapsible tank requirements.

The pillow tanks for rent are for storing water that is non-potable only. These tanks should not be used for drinking water, since they are not certified for potable water. The rental tanks are also not made to handle harsh contents such as chemical mixtures or fuel.

These tanks are best for gray water storage applications:

  • Construction Site Storage Water
  • Supply to Laundromats or Toilets Facilities
  • Waste Water Treatment
  • Mining Process Water Storage
  • Rainwater Collection
  • Supply to Fire Sprinkler Systems
  • Residential Gray Water Storage

Size and Rental Time

The pillow tanks for rent are available in 50000 gallon tanks or above. There are no pillow tank available below that size. The minimum rental time for a pillow tank that is storing water, is three months. Rentals may exceed three months, however a contract will have to be signed for no less.

Recommended Precautions while Renting a Pillow Tank

Pillow tanks require a flat surface, in an area where there is no danger of sharp objects falling on them. This may require clearing and flatting the desired area. Pillow tanks have the benefit of being easy to fold up and moved, as long as they are empty. They should not be moved while filled and by no means transported in a moving vehicle filled. If a pillow tank is being used outside, in an open sunny area, providing shade to protect the tank from sun damage is highly recommended. Sunscreen liners are often used to cover the tank in this situation. A ground cloth, flat liner or a berm should be used under the tank if available. These will add extra protection from any rough terrain the tank may have to be placed on. To learn more about ground tarps and liners see Ground Cloth for Tank Protection. To view all types of berms we have available check out our section on secondary containment berms.
