FAQ: Can steel fuel tanks be mounted on pallets for mobile diesel storage?
Question: We need 160 gallon steel fuel tank. We mount these tanks on pallets and move them around the construction site to fuel large equipment. Typically, we use rectangular tanks approximately 2 ft. x 2 ft. x 3 ft. long.

Standard Above Ground Tank Features
Our skid tank is ideal for portable fuel storage using the integral runners. The skids keep the tank stabilized and maintain a fixed elevation during movement. The skid tank can be placed on trucks, truck beds, and trailers for easy mobile diesel storage. The BDH Bulk Storage Drum is ideal for spaces with limited height and can replace the 55-gallon drum and fabricated to UL-142. These fuel skid tanks are available in two models.

Mobile Fuel Storage Tanks
Mobile fuel storage tanks come in either 500 or 1,000 gallon capacities, which allows for bulk purchase savings. Mounted on trailers (non-DOT and DOT-approved options available), these steel fuel tanks can easily move around and between job sites. They are 100% product compatible, rated to carry Class 3 combustible materials, and are an economical way to transport motor fuel, lubricants, and liquid wastes.
