Flexible Tank for Temporary Water Storage
FAQ: What tank is best for a 12,000 gallon fire sprinkler supply?
Question: I am interested in a water storage tank to store water for our fire sprinkler system as we do renovations to system. The fire marshal has requested we have 12,000 gallons available for the duration of this project. We will fill from standard water tanker trucks and need these to be on site for 3-4 months during our retrofitting.
Answer: Thank you for contacting us! Flexible tanks are a great choice for temporary water storage and are available for purchase in different sizes and fabric options.
Standard Flexible Tanks
Our standard flexible water tank is made from robust fabrics and can be built in capacities up to 210,000 gallons. Depending on the size you require, these tanks can be used with embankment support or built with robust fabrics that allow for a self-supporting water storage system. Tanks can be constructed with different materials for various liquids including drinking water, gray water, frac liquids, diesel, Jet A, and more.
Temporary Storage Solutions
For short term storage (3-6 months), we also sell large capacity flexible tanks that can store around 1,750 gal/linear foot. This can help to provide bulk storage in a smaller footprint with sizes in bulk storage capacities.
Designed specifically for temporary water storage, these tanks are built with economical materials that allow for short-term storage at significantly higher capacities. Standard sizing for these tanks include a width of 24', a filled height of 12' and lengths anywhere from 75' to 200'. Equipped for multiple applications, these tanks may feature an FDA approved interior for the successful storage of drinking water.
