Water Storage Tanks

Benefits and Options of Storing Water

Pool Water, Pool Water Tanks, Gray Water, Gray Water Tanks, Pond WaterWhy do you store water? Why should you use a Water Storage Tank? Water is stored primarily for use as non-potable water, for agricultural use in lined ponds, and in dams and reservoirs for irrigation.

Reclamation or recycling of "used" water through a treatment facility as gray water or black water allows this resource to be applied or used in other commercial industrial applications.

Potable drinking water is not normally stored in this manner as it is subject to contamination and could require treatment prior to consumption. Water is then stored in tanks which vary in size and construction depending on intended use and distribution.
